WHY MEESE
PRESENTATION
If you believe in the environment and you want to improve the efficiency in enterprises, the Master in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Energy will prepare you to obtain expertise in the sustainability of process and products and the integrated management of resources and energy.
We are intending to form new professionals in the analysis, prevention and correction of environmental damages, solving problems of unsustainable resource consumption, waste generation, assessment of environmental impact, vision of the energy market and awareness of the efficient use of energy.
The duration is 90 ECTS, from September to Juny (1st year) and September to January (2nd year).
The whole master is given in English, and you will find an international environment, as we have students coming from different countries.
TO WHOM IS IT ADDRESSED?
The Master in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Energy is addressed mainly to students coming from technical and scientific areas such as Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agrofood Engineering, Industrial Automation and Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, among others.
In some cases you may be required by the Master’s Degree Committee / Coordination to do some bridging courses: that is to say, subjects that will provide you with specific knowledge and prepare you to complete the master’s degree successfully.
EMPLOYABILITY PROSPECTS
Trained on a broad base on environment and energy engineering, and sustainability production, the master qualifies for a variety of jobs as middle managers and project managers in environmental/ energy departments in industry, local administrations, business services, consulting and engineering as well as possible springboard for an academic career.
